- To install the updates manually, download (on your host Mac) item #29 (TigerUpdates.dmg.zip) from the 'Mac OS X for PPC' page of macintoshgarden.org. Unzip that file and convert the dmg to a DVD image: hdiutil convert TigerUpdates.dmg -format UDTO -o tiger-updates.cdr We can now use tiger-updates.cdr as a virtual DVD with QEMU.

I have many nuv files and I have been happy that VLC 0.8.2 for MacOSX seem to work on Tiger. However, I get messages like the following for some nuv files:
access_file: seeking too far
for multiple lines and the file stops playing. I was wondering if anyone out there can diagnose this problem and see if really a bug in nuv support.
Hardware: iMac G5
VLC Ver: 0.8.2
Repro: Open sample nuv and seek to the end of the movie
Please let me know proper way to hand off sample file... It's about 180MB.
Thanks
